6 Weird things about me..

I've been tagged by the lovely Penny to let you all know 6 weird things about me, it will be hard only choosing six...
(Here are the instructions - The Rules: Each player of this game starts with "6 weird things about you". Each person who gets tagged needs to write a blog post of their own 6 weird things as well as clearly state this rule. After you state your 6 weird things, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. 1. I've always wanted to be /thought I was a mermaid since I was about 7. I love all things mermaid-ish (except those awful tacky cheap ass mini statue things).
2. I treat my Persian cat Gwen like my baby, she sleeps with her paw round my neck (in a non strangling way) at night and she comes and curls up next to me whenever i'm upset. She knows me better than anyone :)
3. I am terrified of beans. I don't even want to talk about them. They creep me out.
4. I have very little logic and practically no common sense. I don't see the easy way round things I see the complicated, ridiculous over the top way. Is this from being a creative type?? Not sure but it gets me into a lot of bother.
5. I often say words over and over in my head til they lose their meaning and I wonder if it's really a word or just something I made up. I also sometimes wonder if my brain works like other brains as I am constantly talking in my head, sometimes I just cant sleep cause I'm nattering away in my head.
6. I don't like being told what to do - I like to find things out for myself, hence it working out well being a full time freelance illustrator. :)
Oh and just one more - i can't burp. I just end up feeling sick if i have anything 'gassy' if you like, and have to lie down til it goes away. Tis an extreme pain in the bum.

Small biz of the year? Paperchase and GIANT crumps!

Happy new year all, been quite a while since my last post so thought I'd update with all the latest Gumf. Firstly I've been nominated for small biz of the year by my local council, hurrah! Don't think I'll win but was nice to be nominated. So in Feb off to a glitzy awards night, hoping there's free champers ;)

In other news stuff, sent all my card designs off to Paperchase so waiting to hear back on them, fingers, toes, legs and arms crossed for that!

On the Crump front all is going very well! Had quite a lot of commissions in recently, here's one of them below - a GIANT Crump! Also been making tiny tiny crumps, not sure what I'm going to do with these yet...
